"We trust reviews and other peoples' opinions more than a brand," explains Amanjit Heer, founder of social media marketing and influencer agency We Heer You. Authentic recommendations from trusted voices are taking precedence.
"We have dozens of influencer endorsements in our newsfeeds every day. Many of them are not authentic, which makes us (consumers) more skeptical and harder to 'influence,'" says Modash's Head of Marketing.
"Truly authentic partnerships are much harder to build, and so are less common, and more effective," explains Ryan, emphasizing the importance of genuine partnerships with creators who believe in your brand.
