Sizzler's new look is a shining example of nostalgia-driven design that feels timeless yet trendy, blending contemporary style with the brand's rich history.
Tavern's creative director, Mike Perry, highlights, 'We quickly learned that everyone who grew up in California has their own Sizzler story - a happy childhood memory about enjoying their favourite foods with their favourite people.'
Perry emphasizes that the new design elements were drawn from Sizzler's brand archives: 'Almost every element of the new visual identity was pulled from Sizzler's brand archives, inspired by a typeface from an old ad, the brand's forgotten mascot, and pieces of old logos.'
The rebrand was shaped by three core principles: 'Fresh, Craveable and Delightful,' which helped to ensure that the brand feels fresh and celebrates the craveability of its food.
