Jonathan Freedland speculates that Liz Truss's failure may have killed off the extreme ideological project of a low-regulation society (Truss has discredited high-octane, free-market economics  perhaps for ever, 20 October).If Conservative MPs agree, they will vote against the retained EU law bill, which is due to be debated in the House of Commons on 25 October.
