All postseason, NJ/NY Gotham has been pushing back on the underdog narrative surrounding the team's run from the NWSL's eighth and final playoff spot to Saturday's final. Still, Kansas City missed the presence of Temwa Chawinga, who wasn't feeling 100%. With plenty of cushion on top of the table and a long unbeaten streak, Chawinga can take all the time in the world before returning to action.
