Catholic Charities Boston opens temporary shelter to house families on state waitlist

Catholic Charities Boston has opened a temporary shelter for migrant and homeless families on the state's housing waitlist.
The shelter can accommodate up to 27 families or about 81 people and is funded by a grant from the SafetyNet Shelter Grant Program.
The shelter is providing bedding, meals, staff, and security for the families who were unable to get placement in the state's Emergency Assistance family shelter program. [ more ]
