"I was going to produce Fear of Men and instead we made something totally different I think." says Cox. "True collaboration which is my preferred way to work on music". What began as an Italo disco experiment evolved into a goth club anthem, charged and restless. It captures the push and pull of Weiss's themes - devotion as both destruction and release.
"'Profane Prophecy' is about the devil you know, the devil you never knew, the devil inside of me and devil inside of you," stated Chris Robinson. "The mischief and madness in the beautiful expression that is rock n roll... and you can dance to it."
Caity Arthur directed the roller disco-themed music video for lead single " Like You Really Mean It." Watch it below. "Conceptually a lot of the video was inspired by the themes of Tranquilizer itself, exploring themes of archiving and degradation," says Elliott. To create this heady balance of catalogued crumbing, Elliott and George devised a narrative surrounding a piece of software that's tasked with forecasting natural disasters, documenting and analysing values like wind speed and precipitation - "essentially a worst-case scenario machine", Elliot says.
Alicia Silverstone is Kyle Mooney's video vixen in his new Christmas single, "Mrs. Claus Is Getting Down." Not since her trilogy of Aerosmith videos has Silverstone been so nice about being naughty. In the music video, Silverstone's Mrs. Claus throws a party when the Big Man is out delivering presents. All the wintertime buds are there. But do not get it twisted: this is not an "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"-style cuck fantasia. Mrs. Claus is just here to dance.
Rob Zombie has unleashed the scorching new song "Heathen Days" as the second single from his upcoming album, The Great Satan, set for release February 27th via Nuclear Blast Records. The hard-hitting industrial-metal track clocks in at just over two minutes, with a throwback sound recalling Zombie's early solo albums and work with White Zombie, along with some Ministry vibes, as well.
The Information Age has birthed the attention economy, an industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars anchored in keeping eyeballs firmly glued to screens, thus generating ad revenue. Every second spent clicking and scrolling through the trivial and/or sordid details of other people's lives, people that you will most likely never meet- celebrities, politicians, influencers- is another dollar in some already obscenely wealthy tech bro's wallet.
"Alan was the first person I ever sang in front of," said Perfume Genius in a statement. "We've played every single show together for 15 years. When we started, it was just him and I, perched on our keyboards at the front of the stage. I miss a lot of those older songs and how intense they could be with just the two of us. We're excited to go back there. We want to sing stripped-down versions of newer songs as well and write some new music altogether to play as a duo."

Carpenter dropped the music video for the second single from Man's Best Friend at the end of August. It featured Oscar-nominated Rustin and Sing Sing star Colman Domingo in Dr Frank-N-Furter-style drag and poked fun at men who give the absolute bare minimum in relationships, with Carpenter sensually cooing about how hot-and-bothered a lack of simple politeness and not doing household tasks, such as washing the dishes, leaves her.
With no lyrics, the nearly silent clip is set to a guitar instrumental that recalls his 2003 Crazy Horse track "Be the Rain." It then cuts to footage of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk on stage before displaying a tweet that reads, "The oligarchs gather & so starts the looting of America."

Chloe Trujillo, the wife of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, has released "As the Sky Is Falling Down" - the lead single from her forthcoming Rebirth EP, out in early 2026. Like her husband, Chloe also dabbles in a heavy sound. Here, she evokes a power-metal level of grandeur via her operatic vocals and surges of gained-up guitars and cacophonous percussion, while the spoken-word bit in the bridge wouldn't be out of place in an Iron Maiden song. The four-and-a-half minute track and EP were produced by Jake Carmona.

What she's doing really has nothing to do with her as an employee, as an NYC detective," a police union source told The New York Post at the time. "She's not wearing NYPD paraphernalia. Nothing in the video says she's a detective. If she is performing for money, if she has a side gig, the job would want to know about that. The member would be obligated to file an off-duty employment application. I would say nothing she does in the video is the department's business.
