""There You Were (Alligator Song)" is their first-ever video and it was directed by Lucas Cabu and shot entirely at a live show on a Manhattan rooftop where - spoiler alert - the cops do show up. "We shot this video at an undisclosed location but it was originally just another show for us that turned into a video," says Fizzy, Loosey's vocalist."
""I think it really shows the LOOSEY vibe and lifestyle, just a big, fun hang. Tons of people were at the show to check us out that night, and it represents NYC and who we are- rockers, rappers, graffiti kids, rich, poor, just all here for a good time.""
Loosey, a New York City hardcore band, is releasing their debut album A Retrospective: 2023-2025 on May 8 through TKO Records. The album features their first-ever music video for "There You Were (Alligator Song)," originally from their Winter Promo '23 cassette and remastered for this release. Directed by Lucas Cabu, the video was shot at a live rooftop show in Manhattan and captures the band's ethos of inclusivity and community. Vocalist Fizzy describes the video as representing the diverse NYC scene—rockers, rappers, and graffiti kids united for entertainment. The band will celebrate the album release with a hometown show at Union Pool on May 8 alongside Early Grave and Seely-Jurgens Band.
