Yes Announce New Studio Album, Unveil "Aurora": Stream
"It's always been about collaboration, somebody can write a song, but until everybody puts their contribution in it isn't really a Yes song. We're not trying to echo the past; we're carrying the spirit of Yes forward and turning it into something new."
"The title immediately resonated with Steve Howe and sparked visual inspiration for artist Roger Dean, setting a conceptual tone that would guide the project."
Yes announced their new album, Aurora, set for release on June 12th. The album features the title track and a music video. This marks the band's second studio album with the current lineup, including Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davidson, Billy Sherwood, and Jay Schellen. The title track showcases symphonic elements and sets a conceptual tone for the album. A UK tour has been postponed due to Steve Howe's medical operation. Former members Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman are also pursuing solo projects.
