MIAMI (AP) - Four games, four nights, two titles at stake.South Florida is getting ready for an epic run of finals games.Wednesday's NBA Finals game in Miami between the Heat and Denver Nuggets starts a stretch of four consecutive days of either NBA or NHL title matchup contests in South Florida.The Florida Panthers are home for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, followed by Game 4 of Heat-Nuggets on Friday and Game 4 of Panthers-Golden Knights on Saturday.

A few months ago, it began to be rumored that MetLife Stadium would host an NHL Stadium Series game in the 2023-2024 NHL season.MetLife Stadium is home to the New York Giants and New York Jets of the NFL, but infamously actually located just across the Hudson River in New Jersey.The New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils were the two most likely teams to play in any potential outdoor game there.

The New Jersey Devils have a chance to advance to the second round for the first time in 12 years.The Devils hold a 3-2 series lead over the New York Rangers with Game 6 taking place at Madison Square Garden.New Jersey has goaltender Akira Schmid, one of the hottest players in the 2023 NHL playoffs.

1.All eyes will be on Jimmy Butler's right ankle.With 5:05 left in the fourth quarter, Butler stepped on Josh Hart's foot, turned his ankle and crumpled to the floor in obvious pain.

Despite playing a Miami team without its star forward Jimmy Butler, the Knicks needed every second to escape with a 111-105 win at Madison Square Garden to tie the series at one game apiece before heading to Miami.With Butler out and both Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson cleared to play for New York, it seemed like the Knicks had a good shot to even the series before traveling down South, but nobody told the Heat, who played like a team with no pressure and nothing to lose, moving the ball with confidence and matching the Knicks' usual physicality, often simply being the aggressor themselves.

It's halftime, so Desus Nice is smoking a blunt in the California sunshine.And the Knicks are up five, so the Bronx native and comedian is in a good mood.(Obviously, the Knicks would manage to lose this game, as if that is even a question; they're the Knicks).But for now the mood was pretty bing bong outside 33 Taps, a Silver Lake bar that has become the de facto sports bar for displaced New Yorkers desperate to watch an NBA playoff run with others from the city - or at least the tri-state area.

During its New York Knicks-Miami Heat Game 1 coverage on Sunday afternoon, ABC appeared to show stock footage of New York City that showed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in the background with the Statue of Liberty.The game was at halftime, and after a report, the broadcast cut to an image of New York City with the Statue of Liberty at the forefront, but the Twin Towers appear to be in the background of the shot.
