Police said three teen boys surrounded the young victim inside the station mezzanine and attempted to pull off his hooded sweatshirt. As the victim resisted, the group took turns punching him, with one suspect even stabbing him in the leg. Officers from the 75th Precinct and Transit District 33 rushed to the scene but arrived after the trio fled the location in an unknown direction. EMS rushed the bloodied victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
A 25-year-old woman was attacked in Brooklyn over the weekend when a stranger followed her, punched her in the face, and attempted to remove her clothing, police reported Tuesday morning. The assault occurred around 11:35 p.m. on Nov. 16 near Watkins Street and Livonia Avenue in Brownsville, in the confines of the 73rd Precinct. Police sources said the woman was walking alone when a man began following her.
BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (PIX11) - A gunman suspected of killing his neighbor was fatally shot after he opened fire on NYPD officers in a Brooklyn apartment building Monday morning, police said. The suspect's bullet grazed a 25-year-old cop on the left side of his face in the first-floor hallway of the building at 1046 Thomas S Boyland St. in Brownsville at around 7:45 a.m., according to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
