Firefighters quickly doused an all-hands fire at a two-story residential building in Brownsville on Tuesday afternoon.FDNY personnel were met with heavy smoke streaming from the burning two-story building at 550 Rockaway Ave. when they arrived on the scene just after 12:30 p.m.
Around 65 smoke eaters from 12 FDNY units at the location knocked down the blaze, placing it under control by 1:30 p.m.
Searches throughout the building were negative, and no one suffered injuries.
