Briefly

Kelly Mackin's journey in marketing was influenced by her mother's experience as a senior vice president, which turned challenging after her company was acquired. Witnessing her mother's burnout, Mackin recognized the toxic culture in her own marketing career, characterized by exhausting hours and high pressure. After suffering severe burnout symptoms, she made a drastic change by moving from Chicago to San Diego, advocating for work-life balance. Her experiences sparked a commitment to promote healthier work environments and a thriving work culture.

I felt like I needed to leave everything behind, so I moved from Chicago to San Diego.
