LUME HAUS / STUDIO PRAKRUTHI
Briefly

Lume Haus is an innovative office space designed on the rooftop of a commercial building, focusing on flexibility and sustainability. The architects address the challenge of urban expansion in India, seeking to minimize environmental impact while providing a functional workspace. The design features a temporary structure made of sustainable materials, ensuring that it can be dismantled and relocated if necessary. The interior includes bespoke furniture designed specifically for the project, merging functionality with unique design aesthetics, promoting a serene and balanced work environment.
The cumulative building footprint continues to grow rampantly in India's landscape. We struggle in the grey area, with a constant dilemma about how we can contribute positively to this paradox of living.
We came upon a moment of sigh! A chance to design a temporary shelter within which there will be a place of work. It brings peace of mind and balance.
The composition of the temporary structure is an aluminum grid clad with dark stained birch wood, held with recycled teak wood beading, creating a meditative mood.
The furniture is a combination of bespoke Studio Prakruthi objects and Danish classics. They are limited edition pieces made specifically for each project, ensuring uniqueness.
