Culture Secretary Michelle Donelan has denied weakening legislation to protect users of big technology platforms.The Online Safety Bill - which aims to police the internet - is intended to become law before MPs break for the summer.But the government has axed a section requiring companies to remove legal but harmful material, which critics said posed a risk to free speech.
