Premier's Award winner Shereen Ashman's story is one of redemption and understanding, and of helping her community heal generational wounds, but it's also one of trauma and the occasional feeling of Sisyphean effort.The 2004 Centennial College graduate had her life changed when in 2002 she was shot in Scarborough, sustaining a serious leg injury.
