He acknowledged exceptions for family emergencies or specific project needs but underscored that the previous flexibility for remote work would not continue, marking a shift back to pre-pandemic norms.
Jassy reinforced Amazon's strict stance by recalling, 'The advantages of being together in the office are significant,' underlining the company's commitment to in-person work over remote alternatives.
