According to CBRE's report, corporate leaders are looking to increase office attendance, but policies and mandates are not being enforced effectively, limiting progress.
The survey highlights that 83% of corporate leaders view the absence of enforced attendance policies as a primary barrier to expanding in-office work.
Despite over 50% of companies having attendance mandates, only 17% of respondents say these are enforced, indicating a significant gap in expectations and reality.
To enhance office attendance, CBRE suggests strategies beyond policies, including leadership role modeling, capital investments in tech, and improved social programming.
