Investigators have located human remains in Kawartha Lakes belonging to missing woman Ying Zhang, who was last seen at a wellness center before her disappearance. Positive identification is pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, and aggravated assault in connection to Zhang's disappearance. The man was linked to the case through his white Ford van, seen in the area at the time Zhang went missing.
