The body of a man was found inside a burning boat in Red Hook, Brooklyn, this past weekend. Firefighters extinguished the fire and discovered the man inside, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FDNY fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, while the medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The identity of the man is being withheld until his family is notified.
