"I was smelling really harsh, harsh smoke and I said, 'Oh my God, something is burning,'" resident Alice Solano said, highlighting the shock and fear among residents as they reacted to the incident.
"Somebody was pouring gasoline and light fire on them. It was a disaster when I see it. It was heartbreaking," said Amadu Bah, reflecting on the devastation experienced by the car owners.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed that gasoline was used to ignite the vehicles, underscoring the deliberate nature of the arson.
"I've been here seven years. I've never seen nothing like this," restaurant owner Carmen Baez expressed disbelief over the strange and alarming events in the community.
