After years of brainstorming and planning and months of work, the new cocktail bar, 51 & Tel, soft opened Sept. 10 and is holding its grand opening Sept. 11.
Benyam remembers working 12 hour days as a cashier at the seafood restaurant in the summers, but his parents also encouraged him and Yonathan to explore other industries.
I know from watching my mom and dad that people in business for themselves work long hours, Benyam said. But I liked the world of being an entrepreneur, I don't want to answer to a boss.
