McDonald's has extended its $5/$6 Meal Deal through the end of 2024, initially intended as a summer promotion, responding to customer complaints about pricing.
The Meal Deal includes a McDouble, McChicken, small fries, Chicken McNuggets, and a soft drink, starting at $5 depending on the market.
Originally launched in late June after significant social media feedback regarding high prices, the deal was expected to last four weeks, but its extension indicates a strategic response to demand.
Along with the Meal Deal, McDonald's continues to offer various promotions for app users, including 50-cent Double Cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day and Free Fries Fridays.
