Sam Yoo is taking over his family's 12-year-old restaurant, New York Kimchi, and launching two new dining spots at the iconic Rockefeller Center. On February 25, he will unveil Golden HOF, which offers a casual dining experience, and NY Kimchi, a steakhouse that pays homage to the original establishment. Drawing inspiration from Korea, especially the Jeolla province where his mother is from, Yoo aims to blend tradition with innovation, involving meticulous design and a carefully assembled team of staff to create a vibrant dining destination.

To honor his family’s legacy while expanding his restaurant footprint, Yoo emphasized the need for research and inspiration from his Korean roots.
