Gardaí are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in St John's Park, Waterford this morning, Friday, September 13. The collision involving a car and two pedestrians occurred at about 8.45am.
The pedestrians, two male children, have been conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of their injuries. The road of the collision, off the R708, is closed at this time and forensic collision investigators are at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing as Gardaí continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision that led to the hospitalization of the two boys.
