A man in his 70s was taken to hospital after suffering knife wounds in a Tooting stabbing incident that occurred on December 4.
Officers were called to Fishponds Road around 6.15am, where a man was found with non-life threatening injuries and taken for medical treatment.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody as ongoing inquiries are being conducted.
The London Ambulance Service responded promptly to the scene, and initial assessments indicate that the victim's knife injuries do not pose a life-changing threat.
