Popular San Fernando Valley Sri Lankan restaurant Kurrypinch relocates to Hollywood Boulevard
Briefly

Chef Shaheen Ghazaly's restaurant, Kurrypinch, has moved to a new location in Hollywood after previously attracting a loyal following in Van Nuys. Ghazaly emphasizes the essence of Sri Lankan hospitality in his cooking, aiming to create a welcoming environment for guests. His diverse menu features traditional and fusion Sri Lankan dishes, influenced by his global travels. Having faced various relocations to reach a larger audience, Ghazaly strives to introduce Sri Lankan cuisine to a broader audience, aspiring to elevate it to fine dining status in the United States.
Sri Lanka is all about hospitality and I wanted people to feel at home and my whole vision at Kurrypinch is that we cook as if we're cooking for loved ones.

It gave me the ability to try different cuisines. Every time we were in a new port I tried new foods.
