Russia seeks to annex Ukraine's east, south later this year, U.S. says

The White House on Tuesday doubled down on its assertion that Russia will try to annex additional Ukrainian territory, warning that Moscow intends toclaim as its own large swaths of the country's east and south sometime later this year.
