Quintal Mogi / Luiza Nadalutti
Briefly

The Quintal Mogi project involves transforming an old house into a restaurant, café, and organic market, centered on the theme of a 'quintal' for warmth and connection. Extensive renovations included removing ceilings, unifying spaces, and adding new windows to improve visibility and ventilation. The façade was redesigned to encourage interaction with the streetscape, with careful attention to light and materials like naval plywood. Newly created patios provide functional outdoor spaces that blend harmoniously with the architecture, establishing a lively environment that promotes both social engagement and natural beauty.
The Quintal Mogi project transforms an old house into a vibrant space for dining and organic products, emphasizing warmth, memory, and community interaction.
By 'opening' the previously closed interiors, the architects fostered a bright atmosphere through new window openings, enhancing both ventilation and visual connection to the environment.
We demolished a protruding slab and recessed the roof to create a harmonious façade that encourages interaction between the interior space, the public walkway, and the sky.
The design integrates terracotta walls and a mosaic floor, establishing a cohesive aesthetic that highlights the vegetation surrounding the entrance area.
