Ina Garten's latke recipe stood out to me for its simple ingredients: potatoes, onion, and butter. The butter gave the latkes a lighter and more delicate flavor that, in my opinion, made them more appealing than the traditional versions I've tried before.
On the other hand, Martha Stewart's recipe stays true to the classic approach with oil instead of butter. Although they embodied the traditional latke flavor, I found them more challenging to flip while cooking, which added a layer of difficulty to the process.
