Cargill plans to cut about 8,000 jobs, roughly 5% of its workforce, to realign its talent and resources with a long-term strategy aimed at strengthening its portfolio.
Cargill President and CEO Brian Sikes noted that restructuring will focus on streamlining the organizational structure, removing layers, and reducing duplication of work, which will minimize the impact on frontline teams.
