A Filipino man who previously resided in Lynn has been arrested in the Dominican Republic over 10 years after being indicted for possessing child sexual abuse material, according to authorities.Melchor Datu, 51, formerly of Lynn, was arrested Friday by special agents and officers with FBI Boston's Child Exploitation-Human Trafficking Task Force upon his arrival in the United States and made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida that afternoon, according to a statement from United States Attorney Rachael S. Rollins.
