Admittedly, there was a certain naivety in my early steps-I was an optimist in a pessimist's market, somewhat inexperienced but overwhelmingly determined. My limited understanding of the daunting path ahead was a true blessing in disguise, as it fueled a fearless approach to obstacles that might have deterred a more seasoned professional.
