Klarna, the Swedish fintech company, has launched a chatbot modeled after its CEO, Sebastian Siemiatkowski, to assist customers with routine queries. Siemiatkowski believes in AI's potential to perform all jobs, including his own, due to its reasoning capabilities. Despite this, the chatbot highlights that it won't completely replace human workers, as they will still handle complex inquiries. Klarna's push for an AI-first strategy aims to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and expand its merchant network, with 96% of employees using AI daily.
AI is capable of doing all our jobs, my own included, because it now has reasoning capabilities. Our work is simply reasoning combined with knowledge/experience.
While our AI handles about two-thirds of our customer interactions, providing quick solutions to routine queries, this actually allows our human teams to focus on more complex issues.
