The latter two compounds are the primary psychoactive ingredients in kratom, a plant-based supplement that can act as a stimulant or sedative depending on dosage. Methamphetamine and amphetamine are synthetic stimulants that can cause severe cardiovascular strain, organ damage and fatal overdoses.
