I'm really excited to be joining Sale. My body feels good and I'm still performing at a high level. I feel like I can compete with the best of them, and then some, and I think if I retired now, I'd probably regret it when I was older.

I reflect on my seven years at the club with a huge amount of gratitude. I arrived at the club in 2019 with a few suitcases and a girlfriend, I'm leaving the club with a lot of memories, new friends, a wife and baby,

Caluori ran in five tries on his first Prem start for the hosts, who scored 10 tries in total, to bounce back from last weekend's derby defeat to Harlequins impressively.

The 2025-26 Premiership rugby season will commence with a historic Thursday night fixture between Sale Sharks and Gloucester on 25 September at Salford Stadium.

Farrell spent 16 seasons in north London in his first spell, winning six Premiership titles and three European Cups. He took a break from international rugby after the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
