The SF Planning Commission rejected Mosser Hotel's plan to convert housing units into tourist accommodations, siding with activists who argued it would harm low-income residents.
The Planning Commission voted unanimously on Feb. 25 to recommend, with amendments, an ordinance proposed by the Watershed Protection Department to add new erosion protections.
There are around 300 homes in our neighborhood and by rough estimates, about 100 of them operate as STRs today. These properties have been the site of shootings, sex trafficking and other crimes.
