The Castro Night Market returns for season two on Friday, March 20, 2026, taking over two blocks of 18th Street and turning them into a pedestrian-friendly night market filled with food, music, drag, and local vendors. The market will run every third Friday of the month from March through September, with free admission. Before last year's inaugural Oakland Chinatown Night Market, community leaders had long dreamed of hosting a big, rollicking night market event - the sort of outdoor bash you'll find in cities across Asia. Oakland Chinatown Improvement Council (OCIC) Executive Director Tony Trinh says the hardest part was getting the Chinatown shopkeepers and restaurant owners themselves to believe such a thing was possible.

Local creatives will showcase unique artwork and handmade goods, while guests can engage in interactive experiences like live art demos and workshops.

The Night Market on Bexleyheath Broadway offers a diverse mix of activities, including street food, local artisan products, cocktails, and live music every last Friday.
