Sunset After Dark is a night market in San Francisco's Sunset District that spans three blocks along Irving Street. The market prioritizes community-run operations and focuses on supporting AAPI, Black-owned, and other minority-owned businesses. Smokin D's co-organizes the event and prepares food offerings such as brisket. The new market is smaller than the prior Sunset Night Market, which had stretched seven to ten blocks and drew as many as 20,000 people at its peak before being canceled. Street closures begin at 3 p.m. to reduce merchant disruptions and allow setup time.
