Head coach Steve Morison has left Sutton United by mutual consent with the side 22nd in the National League table. Sutton have won once in nine league matches this season, with the 3-2 home defeat by Tamworth proving to be Morison's final game in charge. The 42-year-old was appointed in January 2024 and guided the club to 12th in the table last season.

Former Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham striker Andy Carroll has joined sixth-tier Dagenham & Redbridge on a free transfer. Carroll has signed a reported three-year deal with the National League South outfit after leaving Bordeaux last month.
