I have really been focusing on the continent of Africa and seeing how we can build better relationships and trade. I have a great job and I want to continue that job. Voters make that decision so those hypotheticals don't exist with me.
The Department of Transportaiton announced on Friday that workers will "begin installing" center-running bus lanes on Brooklyn's diagonal spine between Livingston Street and Fourth Avenue - but buses won't start moving faster on the stretch north of Grand Army Plaza until the fall of 2026, more than full four years after the city first did outreach for the project. The full plan which includes pedestrian bump-outs and bus boarding islands will have to wait until the spring, officials said.
"Everything has to be assessed on its merits, and the merit that we are measuring these projects by is whether or not they deliver for working class New Yorkers who are currently taking the slowest buses in the country."
The mayor is expected to veto a Council bill that would expand the restaurant delivery worker minimum wage to grocery delivery workers. This bill aims to achieve the goal championed by the mayor in a 2022 report.
