A cheaper version of the Lucid Gravity electric SUV is finally available in the United States. The Gravity Touring starts from $79,900, which is $15,000 less than the Gravity Grand Touring that went on sale first. That's great news for everyone who is looking for a spacious and comfortable electric family SUV, but can't afford to spend $100,000 on a new car.

The Lucid Gravity has a maximum DC fast charge rate of up to 400 kilowatts, making it one of America's quickest-charging EVs. It also has a Tesla-style North American Charging Standard (NACS) plug for native Supercharger access. I tried that, and went from 40% to 80% in about 15 minutes with a very flat charging curve.
