Welcome to The HellaFunny Olympics where the best San Francisco comedians go head-to-head against the best Oakland comedians in a classic Battle of the Bay. Teams of comedians representing their city will engage in an epic joke off, trading jokes back and forth until one bombs and is eliminated. Individual comics stay as long as each joke lands. The semifinals consist of your favorite comedians of the night facing off against each other. The last comic standing will win the coveted championship belt for their city! They also get a chance to gain residency at The Function Comedy Club.

Fronted by Josh Turner (Guitar/Lead Vocals), with Autumn Evans on Bass and Aubrey Blount on Drums, FRIEND has been making music since 2021. New Noise Magazine Top 10 albums of 2024 featured FREIND's release of DOG EAT DOG quoting "DOG EAT DOG is what happens when '00s garage punk meets, uh, actual production and a dog's ear for melodies. On this week's show, the highlights included a mixed match against Wolves but seeing De Bruyne and Bernardo shine, alongside ongoing fan protests regarding ticket policies.
