I'm usually [there] early because I have to meet a tradesperson. I'm constantly ordering cleaning products. The TV breaks down, buy a new TV; install the TV. If the beds get cracks in [them], buy a new bed. The biggest part of his job is the boring stuff.
Madonna, Confessions Tour 2006 at Wembley Arena in London. It was the first concert I had ever went to on my own, as the tickets even back then were so expensive and none of my friends wanted to go. Before it started I went to a shoddy, back street pub nearby and had three pints of beer to build up some Dutch courage.
We've been granted a sneak peek courtesy of a new video from Sam Smith. The British singer will be bringing their intimate To Be Free show as the venue's reopening residency. Smith will begin a 20-night run at the Castro from February 10. Yesterday, Smith posted a short video of themselves checking out the new space and singing in the auditorium. It's not known exactly when the video was taken, but it was probably during a visit Smith made a few weeks ago.
Always the straight shooter, The Traitor alum asked point blank, "What's your process in [the] nude scenes of taping it back or securing your ding-a-ling? Do you get a merkin? Do you get to choose what kind of hair it has?" LOL. "I think we're all just dying to know the process," Windey continued. "So, please, go into as much detail as you can. It's really insightful information." Now, this is journalism!
After Abby Stuckrath learned that the Washington Blade is the oldest LGBTQ newspaper in the country, she began digging into its archives for glimpses of gay life in decades past. The research eventually led her to DC's Rainbow History Project, where she kept seeing the names of certain bars and clubs: now-defunct spots such as the Brass Rail, the Showboat, and Phase One. Stuckrath, now a WTOP producer, and her sibling, Ellie Stuckrath, a nonprofit communications professional, had moved to DC from Colorado and were still searching for a sense of belonging in their new home. They decided to channel their casual research into an intriguing podcast, Queering the District, which recently completed its first season.
The event, which was sponsored by Curve Foundation, a platform amplifying LGBTQ women's and non-binary voices and culture, featured contestants gorging themselves on a variety of pies, sans hands. The official winner of the contest was Jenn, who appeared quite triumphant in the photo featured in BAR. Per the culture blog Them, a second contestant also went home victorious that evening, as 81-year-old Babs Daitch's earnest pie-eating skills earned her best technique, plus a hearty round of applause from the crowd.

Jordan Tannahill' s jaw-dropping new drama has a homophobic slur in the title - and that's not the only provocative or profane thing about it. British monarchy watchers are sure to clutch their pearls with the play's main premise about the future king of England being openly gay, having a headline-grabbing romance with an Indian man and performing raw sex acts on stage. But star N'yomi Allure Stewart presents another aspect of royalty and LGBTQ+ culture just as fascinating.
In a high-trust relationship, you trust your partner to take their meds. In a low-trust relationship, you insist your partner take their meds in front of you or send you a video of them taking their meds. 2. I'm a gay male in San Francisco. I'm a bit of a show-off and need some advice on easy and appropriate ways to share my content.
David Bowie reflected on his creative burst in 1970s West Berlin, stating that the studio's proximity to the Wall gave him a sense of being on the edge, both mentally and emotionally. He expressed a need for a dangerous level of creativity to thrive, which resonated with the vibrant, divisive culture of Berlin at that time.
Look, as gay people we live and breathe pop culture. So making this track using timeless clips from some of tv's most iconic moments felt like the perfect way to celebrate PRIDE.
