Hiking up the steep hill next to Highgate station immediately shows just how different Highgate is, setting the tone for a day of exploring.

At the scene of the incident on Thursday, Zena, who lives nearby, said: "I'm upset, I really hope the person who was stabbed is ok as nobody seems to know. I hope that they catch the person who did it and they find out why it happened. This is a really peaceful area. Superstate is a wonderful store with lovely people working there. It's a real asset."

The evening was hosted by star of stage and screen Dunbar, who led a line-up of fellow actors and poets reciting words of pioneers of the beat generation.

Somebody broke the side window, realised they couldn't get in and smashed the door. He must have been a small person to get his weight through that panel.
