According to police sources, the attack unfolded outside of 3 Times Square at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 1. Cops say an 18-year-old male was approached by a group who began questioning if he was in a gang. Despite telling them he wasn't with a gang, cops said, a man slashed him across his face, then fled from the scene.
One person is dead and four others are injured, including a teenager fighting for her life, after a shooting at a Bronx basketball game Saturday night. According to police sources, shots were fired just before 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 near Haffen Park on Burke Avenue and Wickham Avenue, where a crowd had gathered to watch a basketball game. Cops from the 47th Precinct received 911 calls reporting that dozens of shots had been fired and multiple people had been gunned down.
