Zachary Ty Bryan, best known for Home Improvement, was being held in an Oregon jail Monday after his sixth arrest in five years, this time for allegedly violating his parole. The 44-year-old sitcom alum's fiancee, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was also taken in, People first reported Sunday. Cartwright, 32, was charged with one count of driving under the influence of intoxicants, three counts of reckless endangering and one count of attempted first-degree assault, according to jail records reviewed by the Daily News.
" Patrick Beverley has no criminal record," the statement said. "He cares deeply about his little sister - a young lady, a minor. Given that, when he unexpectedly found her alone in the home with an 18-year-old man in the middle of the night, he was understandably concerned, as any brother would be about his sister. However, we don't believe what followed happened the way it's been described and we look forward to the opportunity to address that in court."
A Millis Police officer was placed on unpaid leave as he awaits trial on charges of domestic assault and strangulation of a family member. On Wednesday, Craig Thompson pleaded not guilty to charges of strangulation and assault and battery at his arraignment in Wrentham District Court. The court released him on personal recognizance as he awaits his pretrial hearing on Oct. 14.
