Christian Barmore's arraignment in a misdemeanor domestic assault case was moved from Feb. 3 to March 9 after his attorney requested a delay. The original arraignment date fell five days before Super Bowl LX. Barmore faces one count of assault and battery on a family or household member from an alleged Aug. 8, 2025, incident in Mansfield. A police report alleges Barmore grabbed a woman by the shirt and rushed toward her but did not make physical contact. The woman delayed reporting out of fear, filed charges in September, then emailed police on Dec. 4 saying she no longer wanted to pursue them. The attorney stated no criminal conduct occurred and expects resolution; the Patriots said they were informed and notified the NFL.
