Although one of the headlining features is the addition of cross-platform play, the team also highlighted the "long-awaited" 3v3 ranked mode, alongside new cosmetics, customization options, and quality-of-life adjustments.
Iron Gate's hit survival game sold more than 1 million copies in its first week on Steam, and has since sold more than 12 million total. It currently features cross-play between Xbox and PC and is an Xbox "Play Anywhere" title, meaning purchasing Valheim on Xbox consoles or on PC via the Microsoft Store also grants access to the game on both platforms. It's currently unclear if Valheim on PlayStation will support cross-play between all platforms.
