Rematch developer Sloclap is actively addressing gameplay issues with Patch 2, slated to fix netcode problems such as tackle registration and goalkeeper errors. Players will finally see achievements unlocking properly, although some will require leveling up again. Patch 3 is forthcoming, promising cross-play functionality as well as additional gameplay tweaks. The Rematch beta app is available for players to download and includes limited modes like 3v3 and 5v5 Quick Matches, with progression tracked separately from the main game.
Patch 2 will fix multiple netcode issues encountered during the game's first two months, including tackles not registering and goalkeeper dive rollbacks causing incorrect goals.
Achievements that did not unlock previously will now be fixed, but some may require players to level up again for recognition.
The next major update, Patch 3, is set to introduce cross-play and include gameplay tweaks. It is expected by the end of August.
Players can participate in the beta app for Rematch Patch 2 by downloading it, which includes specific modes like 3v3 and 5v5 Quick Matches.
