Private House Val Trebbia / Studio Pietro Todeschini + Studio Paolo Pagani
Briefly

The architectural project in Roncaiolo involves the complete demolition and reconstruction of an old, dilapidated house. The new design preserves the footprint of the original structure while embracing modern materials. The robust reinforced concrete foundation supports the lighter prefabricated wooden upper levels. The design prioritizes interaction with the natural environment, distinctly reflected in the façade and roof architecture. Large windows connect indoor spaces to the garden and valley views, while a cohesive color palette enhances the visual relationship with the Alta Val Trebbia setting, ensuring the residence harmonizes with its surroundings.
The new building's design reflects a relationship with its natural surroundings, featuring a reinforced concrete base and prefabricated wooden upper floors that provide structural support.
The architectural choice of large windows on the first floor connects the interior with the garden and valley, framing the beautiful views of Val Trebbia.
The façade design, influenced by the steep slope, incorporates a continuous upward slope and dual slopes on the downhill side, enhancing the building's integration with the terrain.
Both exterior and interior color palettes are carefully selected to harmonize with nature, allowing the structure to blend seamlessly into the Alta Val Trebbia landscape.
