The project features five villas designed to harmonize with the topography and local architecture in Villarsel-le-Gibloux. A staggered layout breaks down volumes, ensuring privacy and a domestic scale. The arrangement creates overlapping pitched roofs, while central flat roofs facilitate functional circulation within. Spread across three levels, the villas offer seamless transitions to gardens and unobstructed landscape views from bedrooms. Durable materials, particularly solid insulating brick, were chosen for thermal performance and to reflect local architectural heritage, echoing traditional stone constructions in their design.
The project's design harmonizes with the site's topography while maintaining architectural identity, utilizing a staggered arrangement to enhance privacy and blend with the environment.
The staggered layout supports overlapping roofs, central circulation areas, and effectively balances functional design with aesthetic appeal, ensuring a rhythm throughout the volumes.
Employing solid insulating brick enhances thermal performance and durability, while echoing local architectural context by reinterpreting traditional rubble stone constructions.
The villa's layout clearly separates living spaces from private areas, maximizing the siteâs natural slope and ensuring impressive views from the upper floors.
